Talk Less and Ship More
Well, talking is good. We, as people, feel the need to express ourselves, and think some people are consuming us in different forms. Some of the examples are complimenting to outfits, going out, or writing a blog post that probably will have less than 5 reads.
It is good, and it is what makes us human. I am not ashamed of expressing myself in any medium. It’s the price of connections and socialization in any kind of scale.…

Is Culture Okay?
Before starting the article, I am mentioning the cultures I am specifically in, nothing else.
I am (really soon) 22. I’ve been transgender for, give or take, a good 7 years. That being said, it’s not the only identity I hold, or even the one that I want to reflect mostly. I was always liked being seen as the “smart” person in the room.
Unfortunately, I don’t get the choose. Imagine identities are operators with infixl and infixr values.…

The Bias of First Language
The first programming language you learn programming with is something else. I mean really learning though. I started doing some simple stuff in cpp, c# and js (i know). But, I really learned how to code with Java. I chose Java for some pretty good reasons (by my logic at the time) that would proven to be just outdated and false. My expectations were just being a purely backend dev (my naive ass couldnt predict yet another recession).…

The Big Garbage Pile
Do you wanna do something different in tech industry? Do you know a better way to implement a system. Well, fuck you. Our tech staff only knows Java and C# and we won’t change our tech stack because it costs so many precious dev hours™.
Why are you so mad again? Because we’ve been lied. Good practices don’t pay the bills, another NextJS slop does. We’re collectively building a massive tech debt and out solution to this is making insanely powerful machines that we shouldn’t have but a necessity because every program has 20 other dependencies that also have 10 dependencies each, and running on single core systems.…

Why I don't Rank Movies?
I started watching movies again. I use Letterboxd for logging the movies I watch. While I use a really popular website for that purpose, I don’t use it like an average user.
I don’t like rating movies. Truth to be told, I don’t really like rating anything.
There’s inherent flaws with the ranking systems (0-10 , 0-5) we usually use. It’s not entirely the system’s fault, but existence of it makes everything a bit more complicated.…

Being a Solo Dev: Pros and Cons
It’s 2025, and companies have no budget for developers for multiple fields (backend, frontend, devops etc.). So what do they do? They hire a backend dev and just give them all the tasks. It’s big 25 folks! There is no need for backend vs frontend fights anymore, all of you have to do some fullstack work, and maybe some social media management.
What’s happening in the sector? Well, companies really don’t have the budget sometimes.…
